# How to Setup The Ideal Environment for Capture?

It is extremely important to choose an ideal environment for capture as a wrong environment can cause a compromised output. Here are some key attributes which should be kept in mind while choosing the environment to capture :

1. The size of the set should be sufficiently large to permit an uninterrupted capture trajectory all around the object
2. It is best to use a colored, textured, and matte surface. Plain, Glossy surfaces are discouraged. Plain white surfaces are especially unadvisable
3. It is suggested that the capturing area should have uniform light. Also, for the best output, light should fall from the top (not from one side which leads to shadow creation at the other side)

Example of an ideal Capture Setup is given below :

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.avataar.ai/knowledge-center/incarnate/getting-started/how-to-setup-the-ideal-environment-for-capture.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
